A FAIRIES LIFE
Written By: Zoe Proffitt
Once upon a time there were three fairies that lived their life for the honor of being the ultimate fairy. The only thing bad about trying to be the ultimate fairy is that they were always alone, doing their jobs every day. They spent so much time chasing their dreams that they had little time to be with others. Each fairy was given different jobs to do in a certain amount of time and if they could get them done, then they would have the honor of being named one of the ultimate fairies. And when this happened, they would get to live with all the other ultimate fairies in the big kingdom and never be alone again.

The final job was given to each fairy and they were all pumped up and ready to go. Until they opened their doors and saw that it was the gloomiest day it had ever been in fairy world. The skies were dark and the rain drops were coming down so hard and bigger than the fairies themselves. But, the weather couldn't stop them from chasing their dreams.
"I have to get to the flower shop before it closes!" said Sarah, the flower fairy. "If they don't have more pixie dust all the flowers will die!! I can fight the rain! My best way to go is down Scottie Drive."
"I must get to the city pool before it closes!" said Kathrine, the water fairy. "It's going to need some new pixie dust! I can't bare to see the humans get sick! What way has the most trees that are big enough to cover me like an umbrella? Oh, I know, Scottie Drive!"
"I have thirty minutes to get to Glasgow's Pet Store on Scottie Drive!" said Elizabeth, the animal fairy. "I heard the dog named Jake was sick. He needs pixie dust to make him better!"
Each fairy had set out on their journey when all of a sudden, there was a Big Boom!! All three fairies crashed into each other on Scottie Drive.
"Who are you?" asked Sarah.
"I am Kathrine, the water fairy," said Kathrine.
"And I am Elizabeth, the animal fairy," said Elizabeth. "Why are you out on a day like this?"
"Well," said Sarah, "I am on my way to the flower shop. I must fulfill my duties to achieve my life long dream...to be the ultimate fairy! This is my last trip until I get my badge so I would like to hurry up and do my job! Good-bye!"
"Wait!" said Elizabeth. "I am on my last task too!"
Kathrine yelled, "Yeah, me too! Me too!"
Elizabeth had an idea! "Why don't we all become friends since we have so much in common! We can hurry and do our jobs, then meet back here to go to the judging arena together."
"Okay," said Sarah. "See you soon!"
After their jobs were done, the fairies came back to Scottie Drive, where they made the long trip to the judging arena.
"I am getting nervous," said Kathrine. "I hope the judges are pleased with our work."
"Sure they'll be," said Sarah.
The fairies fly into the arena, holding hands. The judge then names each one the Ultimate Fairy for the jobs they did! Sarah, Kathrine and Elizabeth are very happy. Now, they get to go live in the kingdom with all the other ultimate fairies and never be alone and without a friend again.
